Housing

The University maintains 862 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments in Verano Place for full-time registered students who are graduate students, married, single parents, or who are single and 25 years of age or older. The apartments are unfurnished, with carpeting, draperies, a stove, and a refrigerator, with the exception of about 100 units which are semi-furnished with a bed and dresser. Palo Verde has 204 studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom unfurnished apartments, open to graduate students, medical residents, and postdoctoral students.  The UCI Housing Office (telephone [949] 824-7247) maintains a useful web site, with more information on University housing, downloadable housing applications (also available from the Housing Administrative Services Office, telephone [949] 824-6811), and advice on off-campus housing in nearby communities.
