STAFF SPOTLIGHT Paloma Ochoa Facilities Coordinator Q: What do you enjoy most about what you do at BioSci? A: I’ve been working at UC Irvine for 6 months now and working in Facilities is the perfect combination of a challenge, routine, and getting to interact with students, staff, and faculty of BioSci. Q: What is your proudest accomplishment? A: I am an animal lover and adopting my dog Luna has been life changing. She is a dachshund-chihuahua mix. I rescued her from the San Pedro animal shelter when she was 3 months old and in May, she will be 8 years old. I love having Luna and definitely would recommend if you have the space and time to adopt a pet. Q: What is something most people don’t know about you? A: I like to travel and explore new places and learn about different cultures. This year, my family and I are planning a trip to Cuba.
